Day 1: Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Camel Ride in Merzouga with Overnight Desert Camp
Today, Morning, our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Errachidia and begin your 2 days Tour from Errachidia to Merzouga Desert, with numerous stops for panoramic views of Ziz Valley, the second-longest and one of the most beautiful valleys in Morocco.
Our two days Tour from Errachidia continues to the Erg Chebbi dunes, passing through Aoufous and Erfoud, a town known for its fossils and which hosts annual festivals if you want to visit a local fossil craft workshop.After that, you will continue on this incredible excursion to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, popularly known as Merzouga Dunes or Morocco’s Sahara Desert.
Once we get at the hotel, you will prepare for an hour and a half camel journey to enjoy the sunset and the most spectacular scenery of the Merzouga Desert, try sandboarding if that is an activity you would like to participate in, take pictures, and admire the views… After the sun goes down, your camel ride will keep going towards our camp, where you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea, then you will be given your private tent, followed by a delicious dinner, after your meal you will be able to join and enjoy the Berber drumming music party, observe a sky filled with bright stars, and then spend the night at Our Merzouga desert camp.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert – Rissani– Returning to Errachidia
The next day of our 2 Days Tour from Errachidia, we propose that you get up early to watch the sunrise from the top of a dune in the Sahara Desert near the camp, then have breakfast and take a shower at the camp. After these breathtaking moments, you are going to ride your camel back to the starting location, or transfer it by our 4WD if you like.
